The jewellery is made in 22 carat gold base and jadau and other stones are studded in it,“shared Shrenic Saraf. These jadau sets start from Rs three lakh and can be customised according to the budget of the customer.
Earlier, the jadau sets were worn only by certain communities and Royal Families. However, with the advent of one gram gold, the idea of jadau became popular amongst the masses.In last five years, people started getting more money . Now, they are able to afford more than one gram gold.Thanks to the spending capacity of the people, they can now choose from the array of heavy jadau and diamond sets made set in 22 carat gold.“

Besides the jewellery for the bride, this package would also include the gifts in gold that would be need ed to be given to the in laws of the bride. “In India, the in-laws of the bride are also gifted with some or naments. Thus, we thought of making a package of jewellery that not only would include the jewellery for the bride, but also for her in-laws. Here, the designs are made by special craftsmen in Bikaner and Ahmadabad. The sketches of the jewellery designs are drawn and are sent to the store. KNJ team then fill up the colours as required by a cus tomer or according to the dress of the bride. The craftsmen then choose the gems of the required colour and are then studded in the sets. It needs at least one month to 45 days for a sketch to become an impeccable set. The time taken to make a set also depends upon the intricacy and design of the set. The owners of KNJ suggest placing an order at least a month before.
