Pop-up shops selling fancy ,
affordable lanterns have opened across most Mumbai markets, with the
ones at Mahim, CST station and Crawford Market offering a range of
lanterns in various shapes, colours, sizes and styles. From the paper
kandeels that you can use only one time, to the pretty ones made of
cloth that can be washed and reused the next year, customers are
spoilt for choice. The prices range from `150 for the paper ones to
`400 for the reusable kandeels made of cloth and plastic.
