Producer, businessman and
politician, the stylish Anand Pandit who heads the Lotus Group and Anand
Pandit Motion Pictures and his lovely wife Roopa, were the perfect
hosts at the wedding reception of their daughter Ashka, who tied the
knot with Paarth, son of Deepak and Krupa Chheda. Celebrities from
different walks of life descended at Jag Mandir Island Palace on the
beautiful Lake Pichola in Udaipur to attend the sangeet. Sonu Nigam
enthralled guests with his mellifluous voice. Other performers included
Shailesh Lodha, who recited interesting poetry and comedian Raju
Shrivastav . The glittering wedding reception that followed the
sangeet was attended by Bollywood stars, industrialists and political
heavyweights such as Kirit Somaiya, Gopal Shetty, Ashish Shelar,
Niranjan Hiranandani, Abbas-Mustan, Rajkumar Santoshi, Annu Kapoor,
Rahul Vaidya, Kumar Mangat, Satish Kaushik, Sandeep Singh and more. The
gorgeous wedding outfits of the bride and groom as well as the bride's
parents were created by top designers. A scrumptious vegetarian spread
was heartily enjoyed by guests. The hosts, Anand and Roopa personally
attended to the guests making each one feel like royalty.
