In the wake of Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's divorce with second wife Reham Khan within 10 months of tying the knot, we take a look at other such marriages that didn't stand the test of time 
 
JENNIFER LOPEZ AND CRIS JUDD MARRIED: 4 MONTHS Jennifer Lopez met choreographer Cris Judd in late 2000 when he directed her music video Love Don't Cost a Thing. They got married in September 2001 but parted ways in June 2002. JLo reportedly paid him $15 million as alimony . He mentioned in an interview that their wedding was a circus and he didn't feel like a normal person in the high-profile marriage.
 
NICOLAS CAGE & LISA MARIE PRESLEY MARRIED: 3 MONTHS
Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley were in an on-again, off-again relationship for over two years. They finally tied the knot in Hawaii in August 2002. But the couple filed for separation in November 2002.Nicolas cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split in the divorce petition. “I'm sad about this, but we shouldn't have been married in the first place. It was a big mistake,“ Presley said in a statement.
 
CARMEN ELECTRA & DENNIS RODMAN MARRIED: 9 DAYS
The Baywatch bombshell and the NBA star's marriage lasted for just nine days.They tied the knot in 1998 in a Las Vegas chapel. Many years later, Carmen opened up about it on a TV show, stating, “Our relationship was very passionate. When it was good, it was amazing and when it was bad, it was the worst.“
 
KALEY CUOCO & RYAN SWEETING MARRIED: 21 MONTHS
Known for her role of Penny in The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco decided to part ways from husband and professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting after 21 months of marriage. Ryan's addiction to painkillers and alcohol is reportedly the cause.
 
HALLE BERRY & OLIVIER MARTINEZ MARRIED: 2 YEARS
The Oscar winner recently filed for divorce from her husband, Olivier Martinez. The couple, who wed in 2013, has a two-year-old son. They released a joint statement which said, “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son.“
 
RENEE ZELLWEGER & KENNY CHESNEY MARRIED: 4 MONTHS
Renee Zellweger married the American country music singer-songwriter in May 2005 and filed for divorce in September 2005. In a joint statement, the couple said, “The miscommunication of the objective of our marriage at the start is the only reason for this annulment.“ The actress called Chesney `fraud' in her annulment filing, followed by a statement clarifying that the term was `simply legal language and not a reflection of Kenny's character.' Later, she called the marriage the biggest personal mistake of her life. Speculations were rife that Chesney had deceived her about his sexual preferences. However, he denied he was gay .
 
KIM KARDASHIAN & KRIS HUMPHRIES MARRIED: 72 DAYS
Known for making news, reality star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from NBA basketball player Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage in 2011. Kim, who was 31 then, had said that it was `not an easy decision'. She cited `irreconcilable differences' as the reason.She later said in an interview, “I listened to my intuition.“
 
BRADLEY COOPER & JENNIFER ESPOSITO MARRIED: 4 MONTHS
Not many know that Bradley Cooper was married to actress Jennifer Esposito before he shot to fame. Their relationship lasted just four months. After a December 2006 wedding, the actress filed for divorce in May 2007. Years later, Cooper spoke about his failed marriage stating, “It was just something that happened. The good thing is we both realised it.“
 
BRITNEY SPEARS & JASON ALEXANDER MARRIED: 2 DAYS
The pop star wed her childhood sweetheart in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony in January 2004. Fifty five hours later, the marriage was annulled.
According to Britney , their wedding was `a joke' that went too far. In an interview Jason stated, “She just came out and asked me. She was like, `Well, let's get married.' I went with my feelings. I was in love with her...I thought she felt the same way .“
