TV couple Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit — he played Alexander on Porus — have been making the most of their time in Jaipur, where they tied the knot on Tuesday, following a courtship of five years.
The pre-wedding functions kick-started with haldi, sangeet, mehendi, shagun and a ring ceremony. The rituals were a combination of Punjabi and Rajasthani traditions, as Sheena is a Punjabi and Rohit is from Rajasthan.
The groom shares, “Jaipur is my hometown and I love the winters here. This was the perfect time to have the wedding. Besides, it’s always fun to binge on delicious food in this weather.”
While the couple danced to the title track of Dhadak, Rohit crooned Janam Janam (Dilwale), at their sangeet ceremony. Their industry friends, including Aniruddh Dave, Saurabh Pandey with wife Zara Soni Barring, Aarti Chabria, Mohit Daga and Himanshu Soni, attended the do.
